Meet Mia

SWIM INSTRUCTOR

Mia has several years of swim instruction experience and is excited to return for her second summer as a travel swim instructor with SLWM! She is currently attending Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where she is also a member of the university’s lacrosse team. As a student-athlete, Mia has developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that help her connect with swimmers of all ages and abilities. Mia brings a fun, positive, and encouraging energy to every lesson and loves helping swimmers build confidence and skills in the water. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where swimmers feel comfortable learning and growing at their own pace. Outside of swimming, Mia enjoys reading, hiking, playing cards, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
